I made the Easy Veggie Stir-Fry from Our Best Bites (a favorite site) and I think I’m in love!
I’m not going to post step-by-step instructions or the recipe because their post is perfect already and I followed theirs *almost exactly. So go here to get the recipe.
*The things I did differently were: I forgot to cook the chicken before, so I just dumped some beef broth in a pan and cooked it in that before mixing it into the stir-fry. And I stir-fried the ginger in a separate pan and added it just to my food (my husband isn’t a big fan of ginger).
I loved this! It really was easy and the taste was SO good.
I bought 3 ingredients I’d never bought before to make this: fresh ginger (I can’t believe this was my first buying this), Sriracha sauce, and sesame oil (it would be 4 things, but I bought sesame seeds at the beginning of the month for the first time). It was worth buying all of those because I definitely plan to use them in the future now.
The main things I want to say is to make sure you use gluten free soy sauce. I use La Choy. Although it’s been gluten free every time I’ve looked at it, companies can change their ingredients without notice, so always check. Also make sure you check the beef broth. Some have gluten in them, especially the low-sodium ones, it seems.
Seriously give this recipe a try!
